- Magazine Report Writing
- Newspaper Report Writing
1. Magazine Report Writing
The title is comprised of the name of the writer and the date on which the report is being written.
1. Intro
An introduction should be on the opening page of the report. You’ll describe the issue and illustrate why the report is being written. If you didn’t provide an explanation of terminology in the header section, you’ll need to describe how the report’s information are organized.
2. Main Body
There should be numerous divisions in these parts, each with its subtitle. Most information is organized step-wise, with the most important data appearing foremost.
3. End Conclusion

Summary: While writing a report’s introduction, the summary needs to be simple. A few people will only read the summary and not the whole review, so ensure you are including all that is important. It would be best if you wrote it after completing the whole report so you can conclude all the main points.
Future recommendation: Narrate your own opinion about the topic and predict what could be done in the future.
2. Newspaper Report Writing
Newspaper report writing is the same as a magazine article except you have to mention the Place and date of reporting after the introduction.
The important things to remember while report writing:
Use more active voice sentence structure: Most people think that passive sentences convey a clearer message than active but however this is not true. SO it is recommended to use a more active voice with “subject” to present the information orderly and accurately.
Use simple sentences: In English, short sentences usually start with a noun and have a simple language. Complex phrases need complex syntax and provide room for sentence faults.
Short, simple phrases are simple to read and comprehend, and they save work for all. When you’re analyzing a report in preparation for a crucial business meeting, you’ll enjoy this time-saving technique.
Use proper names with pronouns: You can use pronouns like (he, she, it) rather than writing “She’s in a black suit” etc. Certain individuals believe that using impersonal terms ensures impartiality and correctness, however, this is not the case.
Be clear in writing the report: With proper sentence structure and grammar try to write a report in such a way that it does not confuse the readers and they would get the point without any problem.
Paragraphs: The advantages of grouping material are twofold: your report will become more coherent, and it will be simpler to read and comprehend afterwards.
