Essay Writing Examples for CBSE

Example 1: Summer Holidays

Every student like me waits desperately for summer vacation the whole year. It is the time when you are mentally relaxed from the school workload and can happily enjoy the time, playing games with your friends. We spent this time with our grandparents in the village, where the weather was relatively good. I also explored the breathtaking beauty of Kashmir with my family. We visited the lakes and took so many pictures. My uncle introduced us to historically important places and taught me a lot of new things.

With fun and games, I also took the maths tuition from my older cousin because I was lacking in this subject. It helped me and I am thankful to him for helping me. We spent only one month in the village then came back because my father had some work. After coming back I patch up with my classmates and had quality time. We had already completed our assigned summer work and it gave us plenty of time to hang out and chill together.

Pollution is any foreign particles in the environment that harms the living being. It could be dust particles, noise, smog, or anything. It has different types including water, noise, and air pollution. In the modern world pollution and conversation about the natural environment are hot topics. Due to rapid urbanization and usage of hazardous chemicals in the industries, pollution has considerably increased. Vehicle horns and constant industrial machinery noise is contributing to the noise pollution of cities and it is making citizens’ life more difficult. Pollution has a major impact on the lives of living beings and it is causing serious complications.

Chemicals used in different industries, evaporate and mix with air in the air to make smog that causes serious accidents on roads. These hazardous chemicals also play role in acid rain and lungs allergic diseases. These chemicals also cause water when they get disposed of in the water. From the seafood, they transfer to the human body and cause life-threatening diseases. Pollution has become a major problem day because it is also causing the global du greenhouse effect and scientists are very concerned about it.

It is increasing day by day and soon if we don’t pay attention and adopt the necessary measure, our plants and lives would be in danger. There should be awareness among the general public about the negative impact of pollution. Authorities should replace hazardous products with environmentally friendly materials. Thus, we should make individual and collective efforts to minimize all forms of pollution.
